If you’ve visited our salons, you probably already know that the real bosses of Musubi Group don’t wear aprons or hold scissors. They have four paws, whiskers, and an absolute monopoly on our hearts.
Today, we’re sharing a quick update on our beloved salon cats: Toto (the King of Musubi) and Jiji (the Energy Ball of Ohana)!
🛋️ Toto: The Master of Chill (Musubi Boutique Hair Salon)
If “peace of mind” had a physical form, it would look exactly like Toto.
Toto spends about 99% of his day on the salon sofa, completely unbothered by the buzz of hair dryers or client chatter. He is the ultimate definition of “Chill.” His daily routine is simple: sleep, wake up when hunger strikes, use the litter box, and immediately go back to sleep. Honestly, every single one of our clients (and staff!) secretly envies his luxurious lifestyle.
The Latest Toto Update: We recently ordered a brand-new trash bin for the salon. Instead of letting us use it, Toto immediately claimed the box as his new luxury mansion. He’s currently hiding inside, fully convinced it’s his new home. If you visit Musubi this week, look closely at the boxes—you might see two ears sticking out! 😂
⚡ Jiji: The Active Greeter (Ohana by Musubi)
On the complete opposite side of the personality spectrum, we have Jiji, our resident social butterfly at Ohana.
Jiji takes his job as our Customer Relations Manager very seriously. The moment a client walks through the door, Jiji is the first to sprint over and give a warm welcome. When he’s awake, Ohana is his personal playground—he loves climbing to the highest spots to get his daily workout in!
But just like Toto, Jiji is a cat through and through. After a high-energy workout, he loves to find the most unpredictable spots for a nap—usually curled up right inside our technical workstations or color carts! He does what he wants, when he wants, and we love his independent spirit.
